I’m inspired by people who try to “hold on to the idealism of their youth after losing their innocence.” That’s something Bruce Springsteen once said. I’m an unabashed fan of the Boss even when he affects his voice to sound like he grew up during the Dust Bowl. This may be because I am also from New Jersey… proudly: Montclair, New Jersey.

I’m currently finishing my first feature length documentary, Brothers Hypnotic, about the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, and am developing a film about the community organizing group formerly known as ACORN.

I started filmmaking after working at Legal Aid in Patterson, NJ, attending Vassar College, interning at a maximum security prison, living in Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles, and becoming an entertainment lawyer.
