Noah, Glasschord’s Visual Editor, was born in 1979 in Pittsfield, MA, and was raised in Millbrook, NY. He earned a BFA at Purchase College, SUNY. He now lives and works in the Windsor Terrace section of Brooklyn, NY. Noah’s artwork takes form in various mediums blending collage, paint and mixed media; A painting vocabulary that combines fragments of ambiguous texts, masked edges, and dense layers of plaster and paint. He has exhibited throughout the New York metro area, upstate New York, and New England in group shows, solo shows, and various collaborations. Since 2001, Noah has been collaborating with Jimi Pantalon,, doing stop-motion collage and video installations, which can all be seen in Jimi’s 2011 feature-length film “Washmachine Video Current”. In January, Noah will be included in the Group show, “Major Grey” at the Jeff Bailey Gallery on West 27th street.
