Kate Stewart received an MFA in painting from The University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Dickinson College. Her recent exhibition venues include The Painting Center (New York, NY), Oblong Gallery (London, U.K.), Mahan Gallery (Columbus, OH), Whitespace Gallery (Atlanta, GA), Pageant Soloveev Gallery (Philadelphia, PA) and P.S. 122 (New York, NY). She has been a resident artist at Vermont Studio Center and 40th Street A.I.R. in West Philadelphia. In 2008, Stewart was a finalist in painting for the PEW Grant for Artists. She currently teaches at West Chester University and is an artist member of Vox Populi Gallery.
