Kaisu Koski is a Finnish artist and researcher, based in the Netherlands. She studied in the University of Lapland and Amsterdam School of the Arts, and defended her dissertation in media studies in 2007. She works with video, performance, photography and sculpture. Kaisu’s art practice is intertwined with academic research, focusing on the dialogue between art and medicine, and the methodology of arts-based research. She is affiliated with The Arts and Genomics Centre in the Leiden University, and as a postdoctoral fellow in the Arts and Humanities in Health and Medicine program at the University of Alberta.
